Designed to satisfy the exacting parameters of infrared focal plane array detectors, thermal imaging, and FLIR systems testing in static and moving scene applications, Mikron's M317X Series blackbody calibration sources combine fast slew rates, high emissivity and unchallenged stability and uniformity. As part of an extensive range of general purpose and primary standards for testing and calibrating a wide variety of IR devices, the M317X Series embodies the accumulated expertise of almost 30 years of specialization in this discipline.

The M317X Series Blackbody Sources are designed to use in confined spaces or simulated motion applications. M317X can stand extremely high acceleration and is available in a selection of emitter source sizes with a temperature range of Ambient +5.0°C to 400.0°C.

Temperature Control: Emitter source temperature control is carried out by standard 19 inch rack mounting, precision, digital, self-tuning PID controller which may be located remotely from the emitter source.

Digital Communication Output: Optional RS422, RS485 or IEEE/GPIB outputs are available for remote operation. Standard connecting cable allows 12 feet (3.6 m) of separation between source and controller.

Mounting: Controller modules are designed for standard 19 inch rack mounting. Emitter source modules are adaptable to a variety of mountings, depending on the application.

Warranty: The M317X Series has a warranty of one year against failure due to defective parts or workmanship.
