Job Title:
EMEA Field Marketing Manager

Location:
Germany - Frankfurt

Description:
The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for lead generation, trade shows / exhibitions, and creation of appropriate sales tools to ensure the success of the regional sales team. All activities share the common themes of driving demand, accelerating deals, articulating our value propositions, and raising awareness of our current and emerging solutions while promoting and preserving our corporate brand standards.

This position will report to the Director of Product Marketing and work closely with internal Creative Designers and Web Marketing in addition to a variety of external vendors. The EMEA Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for European, Middle East, and African sales territories, and be part of the global Product Marketing team. The position will be based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Reports to:
Director of Product Marketing

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional marketing plans, lead generation programs and campaigns designed to build the sales pipeline, generate leads and accelerate opportunities. These programs may include advertising, PR, online marketing, tradeshows/exhibitions, and other approaches.
- Manage regional leadflow, which may include tracking, assigning, nurturing, and ensuring adequate follow up of leads
- Analyze and assess territory and lead flow data to diagnose specific areas of focus and prioritize field campaigns, feeding this information back to the Global Marketing team as appropriate
- Work in close coordination with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and/or agencies in the development and execution of field marketing plans
- Successfully organize, schedule and facilitate campaigns, programs, events and other marketing initiatives within the region(s) and according to predetermined budgets
- Drive team reporting, program analysis, ROI metrics, process improvement and best practices
- Develop and maintain a data bank of relevant lead generation information in SalesForce.com
- Manage regional marketing budget
- Some overnight travel required. Most travel will be within Europe, but occasional trips to other parts of the world.

Skills:
- Must be fluent in English and German, other languages a plus
- Experience managing leads in a saleforce automation program, preferably Salesforce.com
- Desktop publishing experience (Quark / InDesign) preferred

Job Title:
Director of Operations

Location:
Germany - Frankfurt

Description:
Position is responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, material planning, inventory control and reduction, procurement, quality systems, facilities & maintenance and safety & environmental functions for LumaSense’s EMEA multi-site operations. Provide leadership to ensure compliance to all policies, procedures and government regulations as well as implementing company directives.


Reports to:
VP of Global Operations in the USA


Priorities of role includes: improve supply chain/manufacturing performance, on time delivery, competitive lead times, and product cost reduction. Improve inventory turns and implement best in class quality systems.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to direct reports at LumaSense’s manufacturing sites in Europe.
• Working with R&D ensure new products meet DFM (design for manufacturability) objectives
• Develops leads and implements activities within operations to meet manufacturing goals, schedules, quality and cost objectives.
• Ensures successful implementation of manufacturing and supply chain management plans to meet delivery and customer needs. Delivers contingency plans to address positive and/or negative shifts in product demand.
• Plans and implements activities, creates and maintains policies and procedures related to material planning, scheduling, procurement, manufacturing test and assembly processes, and systems controls. Responsible for achieving product material cost models and assisting with product development efforts.
• Work with Global VP and other LumaSense colleagues to outsource, where appropriate, product sub-assemblies, assemblies and/or turnkey production to LumaSense’s manufacturing partner in Asia.
• Work with sales and marketing and engineering in releasing new products. Participates on new product development projects. Develops systems to maintain reports and metrics to facilitate proper knowledge to aid management’s decision process.
• Provides leadership to implement continuous improvement programs and practices throughout the operations functions. Advises executive management in developing materials and manufacturing initiatives that help support the Company’s strategic goals, plans, budgets and objectives.
• Participate where appropriate on various LumaSense M&A’s (mergers and acquisitions).
• Work on special projects as requested.

• Manage suppliers’ performance, approval and qualification of new / revised items which includes inspection method and validation

• Responsible for continual product/process improvement activities to enhance the quality system. Effectively apply techniques like SPC, FMEA and DOE to drive product / process improvements
• Perform, coordinate, and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action determination to provide resolution to customer complaints, non-conforming material disposition and process variation
• Define control points, inspection methods, and intervals within the manufacturing processes and implement them through the use of detailed Quality Inspection Plans and Test Requirements

Job Title:
Cost Accounting Manager

Location:

Description:
Oversee cost accounting for multiple companies. Complete responsibility for the cost system and related processes.

Reports to:
Director of Finance

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain cost standards and bill of materials
• Purchase price variance, manufacturing absorption and other variance analysis
• Inventory reconciliation and analysis including report of inventory turn by product lines
• Develop intercompany information exchange for tracking standard costs and corporate wide margins across all LumaSense companies
• Oversee physical inventory process and administer internal control to minimize variances
• Job cost control and analysis including report of job cycle time
• Collaborate with operations in setting, monitoring, and measuring of standard and actual costs of productions
• Revenue and gross margin analysis
• Analyze and prepare information on direct labor and impact on head count
• Perform inventory reserve and warranty reserve calculations
• Identify and control excess and obsolete inventories
• Provide policies and guidance to non-US finance and operating
• Provide sound financial recommendations regarding standard cost calculation, manufacturing variances, inventory, reserve analysis and new product costing
• Assist in month-end closing, management reporting and independent audit.
• Document and update ERP set up and procedures.


Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing cost accounting.
This position requires a high degree of interdepartmental interaction relating to cost accounting.
Excellent communication skills are required.
Strong ERP and Excel skills.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting/Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Prefer experience with Expandable or major ERP applications.
 

 






Job Title:
Product Marketing Director

Location:
US - Santa Clara, CA

Description:
Based in Santa Clara, CA, the Product Marketing Director is responsible for promoting LumaSense offerings on a global basis. The PMD will directly manage a global team of field and web marketing professionals and work closely with two product line management teams. The incumbent will be measured on overall product line performance (revenue/profitability) and promotion-based metrics. The position reports to VP Global Marketing.

Reports to:
Global VP, Marketing

Responsibilities:
1) Develop the global promotional strategy across all mediums
2) Working closely with the product line teams, articulate the core positioning and messaging for products, brands, and LumaSense
3) Ensure the development of high-impact sales tools and collateral

Job Title:
Customer Support Representative

Location:
US - Santa Clara, CA

Description:
Responsible for directing and coordinating customer support inquiries that enter into LumaSense Technologies. Develop a tracking mechanism and track to closure each individual customer support inquiry. This will involve coordination with many different parts of LumaSense that would be responsible for providing the actual resolution to the customer support inquiry. Inquires can range from status of orders, status of shipments and resolves customer order difficulties. They may also involve some inquiries that may be more technical in nature.

This position will also need to be a back up to the Inside Sales Managers of Luxtron, Andros and Mikron.

Reports to:
Inside Sales & Support Manager

Responsibilities:
• Provide first contact to customer support inquiries, which may include ownership of a global number for LumaSense Customer Support and dedicated email address (support@lumasenseinc.com)
• Implement and maintain a tracking mechanism for customer support inquiries until closure
• Coordinate with various functions of the organization in order to gain resolution to customer support inquiries
• Develop and maintain metrics as it relates to customer support (patterns of inquiries, resolution time, etc.)
• Ensure Salesforce.com (CRM) is maintained and updated on customer support inquires for various accounts
• Learn and become backup to the Inside Sales Manager positions of Luxtron, Andros and Mikron
• Assist as needed on quote preparation, proposal preparation and order entry
• Assist in lead management responsibilities (processing and assignment of leads to the sales team)

Job Title:
Engineering Program Manager

Location:

Description:
The Senior Engineering Program Manager is responsible for program management of the next generation temperature and gas sensing solutions to industrial, energy, medical and clean technology markets. In this key role you will lead cross-functional teams from technology transfer through full production and market release. You will lead individual projects, as well as projects that are part of larger LumaSense systems and initiatives. LumaSense Technologies has product lines that bring several different technologies together into unique combinations of sensor solutions for customers in our target markets. This position will interact frequently with Senior Management, to provide status and updates regarding project progress, budget and timelines.

Reports to:
Vice President of LumaSense Engineering

Responsibilities:
• Lead highly technical cross functional teams to achieve LumaSense program goals, meeting partner and customer needs.
• Drive achievement of business deliverables, including quality, schedule and cost
• Manage and track project budgets and resources: team members, prototypes, suppliers and general expenses.
• Coach team members to ensure effective team dynamics and mutual accountability, building a highly effective program team.
• Work in collaboration with Functional Managers and teams, to ensure delivery of products as part of the overall product portfolio
• Lead initiatives to improve technology transfer, execution of programs, transfer to manufacturing, and development of technological and product development competencies.
• Exercise sound judgment within defined practices and policies, including structured development process.
• Develop, communicate and document project strategies, status and plans.
• Provide input regarding schedule and resource requirements to functional department leaders during AOP/strategic planning process.
• Provide input and leadership for technical decisions and options for the team and the department


Qualifications:
• Proven leadership role experience (team leader, manager or project manager)
• Worked on at least four substantially different projects/technology areas in their career.

• Experience with development/certification of complex hardware and/or software systems is also desired
