The Luxtron biomedical fiber optic thermometers are classified for use in medical environments.
The m3300 Biomed Lab Kit is a fiber optic thermometry system designed for such demanding environments, featuring patented fiber optic probes that use the fluorescence of phosphors at their tips to sense temperatures based on optical signals. Because they are non-metallic, and electrically non-conductive, they are immune to electromagnetic interference and can measure temperatures accurately in environments where conventional electrical sensors are ineffective or useless.
The LumaSense Luxtron Model 3100 line of fiber optic thermometers has been discontinued. Probes and accessories for this instrument are still available for sale. Contact your local Luxtron sales representative for more information.
