Fiber Optic Winding Hot Spot Temperature Measurement and Control
The WTS-22 hot spot controller represents the 4th generation of Luxtron fiber optic transformer winding temperature measurement systems. Incorporated into this design is the field experience of hundreds of installations of the Luxtron WTS-11 systems and years of experience working directly with utilities and transformer manufacturers.

The WTS-22 enables direct monitoring and control of transformer hotspots. With easy-to-use features, including programmable alarm setpoints, logic functions and relays, the WTS-22 can:

• Protect transformers from insulation damage during transient overloads by instantaneously activating cooling
• Safely maximize normal loading without fear of damaging Insulation and reducing transformer life
