The Andros pneumatics package offers a subsystem solution for faster product development. Using the highly successful Model 6500 NDIR modules for its core technology, the Andros 6900, automotive analyzer is shipped as a completely assembled gas sampling and analysis subsystem. All other versions of the Andros 6500 Series can be installed in the same pneumatics package as the 6900.

The Andros pneumatics package measures gases, controls internal and optional external pneumatic
components, communicates via RS-232 or USB with the host, and provides user defined TTL outputs, as well as analog and tachometer inputs which can be integrated into the data output stream for user convenience.

Highly Accurate Measurement

Every Andros pneumatics system has an individually calibrated 6500 Series NDIR module for operation from 0° C to 50° C over the entire range of specified concentrations. Simple but robust sampling system provides the most reliable and accurate analysis possible. The Andros 6900 pneumatics system is designed to meet and exceed ISO 3930/OIML

R99, Class 0 and BAR 97 specifications.

Innovative Pneumatics Architecture

The standard sampling system configuration can easily be changed to support 3 additional 12 VDC solenoid valves or other DC operated devices in support of any government mandated program, or can be configured for any other type of sampling requirements using our versatile command set. Pneumatics components have been carefully selected to be compatible with internal combustion exhaust gases.

The Andros pneumatics incorporates our combined water trap, filter, and float check valve to prevent any liquids from being transported into the sample cell of the Model 6500. The primary water trap is continuously drained through the “wet” side of the DC sample pump. An additional internal filter adds another layer of protection to maintain analyzer
integrity without sacrificing response time.
