The modular design of the Pearl Camera Core provides a platform for new applications or additional development. In the standard configuration, the Pearl is a complete imaging solution without an external enclosure. The Pearl hardware takes advantage of the ability to operate the entire product family offered by ITC with the same electronics architecture. The reference design can be configured to operate any of the ITC detectors by changing register values in the command interface. LumaSense is proud to present the ITC-Shell Evaluation and Demonstration package – a fully functional hardware design that operates the ITC-3000 160x120 detector, utilizing all of the product features to produce a VGA video image from the detector. This enables the camera designer to evaluate the features and capabilities of the detector for their specific application. The ITC-Shell is provided in an open source format to serve as a foundation for a new design, greatly accelerating detector integration, while reducing the financial investment required for development. |
