An ultra high temprature blackbody calibrator unparalleled in its capability to produce very high temperature, high emissivity emitters and, at the same time, stabilize at the required temperature within a few minutes of switch-on. Target temperature is sensed by a rapid response Mikron infrared fiber optic thermometer which drives a PID controller to regulate the cavity temperature precisely to the desired setpoints. Remote setpoint setting is achieved via an RS-232 communication port. All safety features to protect equiment and operator are easily accessible.
