About LumaSense

LumaSense Technologies was founded in 2005 with a vision of creating a global sensor company serving the clean technology (Industrial), Medical and Utility markets. Our strategic goal is to attain market leadership by identifying and acquiring companies with superior sensing solutions and investing in their organic growth.

By focusing on specific vertical markets, we aim to capitalize on synergies in research & development, manufacturing, and marketing & sales to accelerate growth within each market and increase market share by providing access to channels in new market segments.LumaSense Technologies has operating divisions that bring several different technologies together into unique combinations of sensor solutions for customers in our target markets:

Temperature Monitoring

The Luxtron® division, based in Santa Clara, California, is a leader in fiber optic temperature measurement solutions. Luxtron's Fluoroptic® thermometry systems enable measurements in harsh environments and are the solution of choice in semiconductor, utility and medical applications.

Mikron Infrared Inc., based in Oakland NJ and Frankfurt Germany (Impac Infrared) has been an innovative leader in the field of infrared non-contact temperature measurement since 1969. Mikron provides infrared non-contact temperature solutions for applications in the steel, glass, petroleum, chemistry, food and beverage, glass, medical, power, semiconductor and security industries. Mikron also offers thermal imaging solutions including thermal applications, specialized software, and custom camera configurations.

Gas Analysis and Monitoring

LumaSense Technologies Europe is a division that was created from the acquisition of Innova AirTech Instruments A/S. This division is a leading manufacturer of cost-effective systems for the detection, monitoring, and analysis of a wide range of gases for industrial, energy, medical, environmental and scientific applications. Our gas analysis products are based on infrared photo-acoustic and magneto-acoustic spectroscopy technology. They operate in a variety of environments to measure gases from ammonia to xylene in trace amounts with a very low detection limit (parts per billion).

Andros Incorporated was founded in 1968 as a developer of scientific instruments under contract to U.S. government agencies. For more than three decades, Andros has been the clean technology provider of choice to OEMs needing high-performance, high-quality gas sensing solutions in the most demanding medical and industrial environments.
