Vivek Joshi, Founder and CEO
Vivek brings significant leadership to LumaSense with corporate experience in roles at GE Corporation and GE Transportation Systems. More recently, Vivek was an Operating Partner of Shah Capital Partners and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sun Services, a $3.6 billion division of Sun Microsystems. He also has previous experiences with Webvan as Vice-President of Program Operations, Management Consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton and operational experiences with Johnson & Johnson.

Bill Tinsley, Chief Financial Officer
Bill has over 20 years of management experience across multiple technologies and business models. Most recently he was the CFO of Storm Ventures where he mentored early stage entrepreneurs and raised Storm’s first institutional fund. Prior to that, he was CFO of SoftPlus which was sold to USI. Previously, Bill worked at Applied Materials as regional controller for North America and as Group Controller for world-wide CVD operations and at Syntex Corporation in a number of finance and operating roles including service with Syntex Japan.

Nadim Maluf, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Nadim has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in High-Tech companies targeting electronic and photonic products for the life sciences, industrial, semiconductor, scientific and telecom industries. He was most recently Vice President and General Manager with New Focus/Bookham managing $20+M in revenues. Previously, Nadim served on the senior management team at GE Novasensor, a leading supplier of microsensors to the medical and industrial markets. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a M.S.EE from the California Institute of Technology.

Shane Gibeson, Vice President Global Operations
Shane comes to LumaSense Technologies with more than 24 years of senior management experience in operations and general business unit management and outsourcing.  Most recently he was Sr. VP or Operations, Sales, Marketing and principal at Beam Express, Inc., a startup that developed leading edge transponders.  Previously, he was general manager at Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. and Business Unit Manager, Storage Network Division at Hewlett Packard. Shane holds an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco and  BA from University California Santa Barbara.

Steve Uhlir, Vice President Engineering
Steve brings nearly 30 years of industry experience, most recently at Sun Microsystems where he was Vice President of Remote Services Delivery. In that role he directly managed a 770 person global support organization with backline engineering teams for all Sun products. During his career at Sun, he held a number of technical management roles including: Vice President Product Technical Support, Vice President User Experience Engineering and Vice President of Solaris Engineering. Prior to that, he held various engineering management roles at IBM and Bell Labs. Mr. Uhlir holds a MS in Computer Engineering and a BS in Physics, both from Stanford University.

Vicki Ryan, Global Vice President of People
Vicki will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of worldwide human resources, including employee recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, change management, employee relations, and merger and acquisition efforts.  She has over 20 years of domestic and international experience in successful high-growth technology, services and manufacturing organizations ranging in scope from startups to $4B Fortune 150 corporations.  Most recently she was Vice President of People for Mercury Interactive/HP, a global software and services company and previously held senior leadership roles in diverse industries and market segments.

Vivek Joshi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of LumaSense Technologies, Inc. An executive with experience in various industries, Vivek was most recently an Operating Partner with Shah Capital Partners. His previous experience includes various senior level management positions with Sun Microsystems, Webvan and GE Transportation Systems. Vivek has an M.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia , Charlottesville and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai.

Michael E. Lehman is Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Resources for Sun Microsystems. Michael has had a long and successful association with Sun, both as an executive and as a board member. Before his career at Sun, Michael was a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse, and worked in the Milwaukee and San Francisco offices. Michael serves on the board of directors of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and is former chair of the Dean's Advisory Board of the school of business at Madison. He is also on the board of MGIC Investment Corporation. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a major in accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

David Walrod is an independent investor. Dave focuses on investments in wireline and wireless communications, semiconductors, as well as Internet services and infrastructure He is currently on the board of directors of several companies, including Caspian, CoVi Technologies, Integrated Solutions, NextG Networks, Qsent, Ultradots and Wave7 Optics. Dave received his B.A. in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Tony Downer joined the Oak team as Director-Private Equity following a fourteen-year career as a Managing Director at Cornerstone Equity Investors, a middle market private equity firm with over $1.2 billion under management. At Cornerstone, Tony led the management buyout of a number of technology and tech-related companies as well as acted as the lead investor for numerous later-stage expansion financings. Prior to Cornerstone, Tony worked at the private equity groups at T. Rowe Price Associates and the Harvard Management Company. Tony currently serves as a director of EquaTerra, Geotrace Technologies, iTouch Ventures Limited and SecureWorks. He earned his BA, JD and MBA from Harvard University
