QUASAR监测仪采用多波长红外检测以及电子电路的技术,可自动弥补由于雨天、下雪、雾天等造成的信号变化。所观测到的燃烧情况通过一个4-20 mA的信号进行传输。QUASAR监测仪可安装在控制中心屋顶上,瞄准并检测远处废气燃烧烟道的燃烧情况。此外,监测仪还可安装在一个坚固的安装系统上,以抵抗强风造成仪器移位,同时还具有游标瞄准功能,可方便地实现长距离的物体瞄准。
QUASAR M8100FM-EXP的所有电气和光学部件都安装在一个经由CSA和CENELEC认证的外壳内,其危险场所分类为第一类、第一部分、第C、D组;第一类、第二部分、第A-D组;以及EExd IIB T4。安装在防爆外壳内的单个可替换使用的模块组件保护所有电气和光学部件,便于拆除与更换,且不会影响任何外部连接。
