Container glass is a type of glass for the production of bottles, glass containers, jars or drink ware in general. The temperature measurement of container glass during the manufacturing process is important to ensure the quality of the end product.
LumaSense Technologies provides a portfolio of pyrometers and thermal imagers to ensure an accurate temperature measurement in the different process steps of container glass. The glass gob and glass mold temperature is very important to ensure a stable quality of the production of container glass.
LumaSense Technologies offers for both process steps the right equipment. Fast ratio pyrometers with small spot sizes to measure to measure the temperature of falling glass gobs between the shears and forming machine. Additionally, portable and fixed pyrometers to measure the mold temperature and to control the forming process and wall thickness of the final product.
