Factory Calibration Services
We know your LumaSense equipment plays a critical role on your process and research. Precision is imperative so we’ve established a fully equipped, expertly staffed laboratory for performing calibrations that meet national standards on all makes (MIKRON, IMPAC, E2T, Avio, LUXTRON, SmartDGA®, INNOVA, and ANDROS) of LumaSense infrared temperature and gas sensing equipment.
LumaSense Calibrations
All LumaSense temperature calibration laboratory equipment is traceable to the International Temperature Scale ITS-90. This traceability is achieved by using freezing point blackbodies as primary standards. Reference instruments (blackbody sources and transfer pyrometers) are certified in fixed time intervals by national institutes: NIST in the U.S. and PTB in Europe.
Infrared Calibration Services
In addition to initially calibrating every product sold, LumaSense offers two types of calibration services for our infrared products: standard, using two-point calibration, and certified calibration, featuring five or more points and NIST certification. These additional services can be purchased as needed or as calibration contracts and require the use of a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.

Fully Documented Calibration History
Instruments calibrated by LumaSense receive a full disclosure computer printout of test results after each calibration. In addition, a calibration history for each instrument is retained by LumaSense for reference purposes.

NOTE:
These items, plus select LUXTRON and ANDROS products, are available for servicing in Santa Clara, CA.
Our facilities in Germany calibrate all IMPAC and E2T products, as well as selected MIKRON products.
All INNOVA products are calibrated at our facility in Ballerup, Denmark.
