Advanced Energy’s family of eighth-brick isolated DC-DC converters for telecommunications applications covers power ratings from 50 to 250 W and includes models that are capable of delivering up to 50 A output current. All the converters are based on a low profile open-frame design that is optimized for forced air or conduction cooling and have a standard 2.3 x 0.9 inch (58 x 23 mm) footprint. The converters also all feature a wide input voltage range that is compatible with standard 24 VDC or 48 VDC telecommunications equipment supplies.
